Since being a teenager, Jay has been an active player in Southeast Asia’s arts, creative and counter-culture movements. In 2011 he founded contemporary artist collective Projek Rabak.
Projek Rabak has grown and now includes a range of artistic disciplines with music, mime, theatre, film, visual arts and more. Projek Rabak also have their own artspace and a publishing house which focuses on experimental new writing. The collective work locally, nationally and internationally – most recently being featured in an exhibition at the Venice Biennale.
