The inclusion of young people in heritage organisations has often been from an audience level or as a form of consultation, but what about embedding their input as part of the permanent governance structures of heritage? And what about ensuring that their input is continuously treated as valuable? 

This is why Don’t Settle will work with Chance Heritage Trust staff to ensure that their legacy is secured and that the processes and outcomes of this collaboration are captured and become a sustainable forward-thinking system of preparing and supporting young People of Colour to make strategic decisions and shape the future of Chance Heritage Trust.
