Senior Research Project Manager

As our Senior Research Project Manager, your role will be to plan, manage and execute projects (some of which will be pure research projects) with skill, enthusiasm and originality. You will work closely with the team and clients, and be responsible for ensuring processes are followed in all your projects. You will also manage a small Insights Team of researchers.

We’re looking for someone with experience in conducting research projects and excellent project management skills (you need to know your Gantt charts and spreadsheets). You will thrive in a fast-paced, youthful environment, be a self-starter, have a high standard of yourself and others and be able to get a bit thrifty when needed.

  • Salary – £30,000+ per annum, depending on experience.
  • Flexible & Hybrid working model
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and taking accountability for a wide range of projects across the business, including external and internal campaigns, research projects, digital & social content projects, focus groups, co-design, consultancy and experiential projects.
  • Monitoring and evaluating progress and performance of projects, including managing project checklists, budgets, timelines and risks, as well as providing regular feedback and status updates internally and to clients.
  • Supporting and attending new business pitches, presentations and contributing to written pitches & negotiations when required to do so.
  • Supporting with and managing client relationships to ensure work that is being delivered is what is needed and wanted by the client – acting as an ongoing point of contact for clients and communicating relevant information back to those delivering the work.
  • Taking responsibility for company wide processes around research methodologies (eg. what approach we take on a per project basis).
  • Being an internal point of contact for the Delivery Team around consents processes, safeguarding and data protection practices.
  • Direct Line Management of the Insights Team.

(Experience of working in a creative, marketing or digital agency, knowledge of safeguarding, knowledge of consents and data protection processes, digital knowledge and expertise, and experience working with young people would be a real advantage)
