Bio

Poetry

Anika Christopher is a poet, writer and author. She uses words to empower others and give back to her community, writing for both children and adults. She is currently working on her first young adult collection of poems and has published 2 picture books  “Planting Peace” and “Anansi and the Green Sea Turtles”. Alongside this, Anika sits on the British Virgin Islands youth parliament, and was the lead organiser for the Virgin Island’s first literary festival. Anika is currently studying for a BA in Literatures in English and Creative Writing from the University of the West Indies.
